First self driving bus in The Netherlands

In The Netherlands, on a public bus lane between Haarlem and Schiphol, a first test has been conducted with a self driving bus .

A large part of the road had been closed of for other traffic, however the bus did face traffic at certain intersections.

The bus interacts with its environment by camera’s and systems placed at the road side, this way it has the ability to respond to current situations.

The goal is to have buses, just like this one, fully operational in 2020.

What would be your preferred choice of transportation a self driving bus or a bus driven by a chauffeur?
