Satellic has recently launched a software update for all OBU’s. This means that as soon as an OBU is switched on the update will be installed. During the installment of the update the OBU display will read: ‘not ready for use’.
For this reason it is recommended to turn on the OBU before entering Belgium or before starting your journey. Satellic OBU’s who have not been used for a longer period of time might require more time to be updated (approx. 30 minutes).
The OBU can be used again as soon as the update is successfully completed and the LED light is green. Please pay attention that your OBU is running correctly as there is a hefty fine on non-working OBU’s.
