In this series ‘’In The Spotlight’’, we would like to share with you stories of our customers. Last week we had the opportunity to talk with Mark Finneran, director of Amigo International, formerly known as Bring MIB.
Amigo International was founded in April 2017 and has seen a steadily grow year on year. The company offers ADR Transport, E-pod, CCTV on all trucks, live temperature streaming, tracking on trucks & trailers, TAPA locking systems, geofencing locking system, GDP Trained drivers and more. Amigo International aspires to provide the best possible transport solutions to all of their customers.
Mark, when and why did you start using DKV?
We have been using DKV since June 2017. DKV have a massive European foot print and we wanted a fuel system where it could be used anywhere in Europe. We also wanted a one stop shop for all our Fuel, Tolls, Fuel Duty refund and VAT reclamation to reduce on the amount of administrative work on our side.
DKV have lived up to all their commitments and we find they offer a bespoke and seamless solution to a cumbersome fuel purchasing system in Europe.
Which products do you use from DKV?
I think every product, at least a lot. We use:
- Fuel purchases
- Toll purchases via DKV BOX EUROPE
- VAT reclamation
- Fuel duty refunds
- Truck wash
- Puncture repairs
- Online services in the DKV Cockpit
We find all products of DKV easy to use. I especially like the tyre break down services. DKV have so many connections throughout Europe, you are never too far away from a tyre garage, thus reducing on the travel costs that a service van will charge.
What stands out with working with DKV?
I like working with DKV: they are a big company, but from the people in the European office, through to our account manager, you feel you are in safe hands. I would definitely recommend working with DKV to other companies.
