A new application and selection process has been introduced for Europe’s leading accolade for sustainability in the transport and logistics industry, the Eco Performance Award. Interested companies can now register quickly and easily online and submit a brief application up to 31 January 2016. Your application should first of all outline your sustainability concept and, without going into too much detail, seek to convince the expert jury of its potential. The ten most promising applicants will be named and may then submit a fully detailed application. In a final selection round, three to five applicants will be invited to present their concepts in person to the jury. The winners will be honoured at an award ceremony on 22.9.2016 in Hanover.
The expert jury will award prizes to companies from the transport and logistics industry that have best balanced the aspects of economic, ecological and social sustainability. The jury takes into account innovative measures as well as robust, practical overall concepts. In addition to the Eco Performance quality seal, the winners also receive a cash prize of EUR 10,000. The award, an independent quality seal initiated by DKV Euro Service, is endowed jointly with the Chair of Logistics Management of the University of St.Gallen and Premium Partners Knorr-Bremse and the PTV Group.
